The Cybernetic Police alerted the population about a new fraud modality that consists of false vacancies, published in social networks such as Facebook, offering employment in the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) or other public sector companies.<\/p>\n

What is the CFE fake vacancy fraud in Chihuahua?<\/h2>\n

The modus operandi of this fraud is to offer job vacancies, created by fake profiles, offering employment in the CFE. It was detected that these publications are usually shared in Facebook groups.<\/p>\n

Once the \u201ccandidate\u201d is selected, they ask for his or her personal data, in addition to his or her CV. Some time later, they contact the victim to inform him\/her that a deposit or bank transfer is required to continue with the process. Once the payment is made, the scammers cut off the communication.<\/p>\n

Recommendations to avoid becoming a victim of CFE's fake job vacancy fraud<\/h2>\n

To avoid becoming another victim of this CFE fake vacancy fraud, or any type of online fraud, the Chihuahua State Cybernetic Police issued a series of recommendations.<\/p>\n
