The CNH issued new rules for the OPA with which it seeks to facilitate and provide certainty to the procedures of its regulated parties.
The governing body of the National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH) approved on Thursday an agreement issuing the general rules for the operation of the Automated Parties' Office (Oficialía de Partes Automatizada, OPA).
The purpose of these rules is to facilitate the receipt and submission of documents; to provide legal certainty to the applicant regarding the registration procedure and conditions of use and its obligations; to define a clear procedure for OPA registration (10 working days to validate requirements); and to incorporate a specific format for requesting access to the OPA.
