ENI achieves first place in oil production in private companies

The Italian company recorded this month a historic goal for the third time. It was reported that oil production in ENI's fields exceeded last July's figures, the Ocho, Ichalkil and Pokoch fields, according to data on national oil production published by the National Hydrocarbons Commission (CNH), which in August reached a new production record of 35,469 barrels per day. As a result, the company has become the private oil company with the highest production in Mexico. ENI has previously mentioned that Mexico is a central country in the company's organic growth strategy, and that it expects to reach an average production of 90 thousand barrels per day by 2025, although the goal is a little high, the company has projected that it has the economic and technical capacity to develop prosperously in the hydrocarbons sector in our country, so it is expected to continue giving equally fruitful results.
It is also worth mentioning its recent discovery of a gas field in Indonesia, which according to preliminary studies contains about 140,000 million cubic meters of this hydrocarbon, the field was found 85 km off the coast of Kalimantan drilling to a depth of 5,025 meters, the Italian company said in a statement.
