The main objective of the program is to regularize gas stations that may or may not have a local or federal permit to operate, with the promise of not sanctioning them with closures. The program for the regularization of gas stations in terms of environmental impact is almost 50 percent advanced in inspection and is expected to be concluded before the end of the current administration, assured Ángel Carrizales López, executive director of the Safety, Energy and Environment Agency (ASEA).

The official also mentioned that, in order to benefit from this regularization program, 1,200 service stations have so far passed all the filters and there are still some 490 to be regularized.

There are currently around 13,500 service stations in the country that sell liquid fuels, such as gasoline and diesel, to the public. Some 1,200 stations, representing 8.8 percent of the total, have registered with the ASEA program.

So if you have a service station and do not know how they are being regulated and inspected by the ASEA, come to us; in Priego Brito & Guzman Juarez we protect your assets through specialized corrective and preventive figures. And remember, ignorance of the Law does not exempt from its compliance.
