Between January and June of this year, the creation of jobs with legal benefits fell by 42.6%, totaling only 295,058 positions, according to the latest monthly report of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS), published this Friday.
Although employers in the national territory continue to hire workers, they do so at a slower pace. The number of formal labor discharges in the first half of the year was the lowest since 2019, excluding the outlier year of 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Do you need legal guidance to adapt to these changes? At our firm, we offer specialized labor law services to help your company effectively handle the hiring and management of employees, ensuring compliance with all labor regulations and protecting the rights of your workers.
