Energy efficiency; an issue that also involves culture

Currently the energy policy is focused on making the energy transition in our country more efficient, and there are many factors that optimize or delay this progress, but as a society we are mentally tied to the idea that it is only a matter of the state to promote, make efficient and apply the necessary tools for this transition to happen in Mexico, without taking into account the factors that as a society we are also destined to promote, and the fact is that Mexicans live with the idea that the energy that exists around us as well as the places from where we can extract it, and it is not so, most of us are not even close to being able to generate energy for our own consumption;Most of us are not even close to being able to generate our own energy for our own consumption, and in addition to this, it is frequent the social manifestation of certain groups that express that we are not even obliged to pay for it, which is a totally erroneous thought, because we are totally dependent on them and added to this, we are totally technologized in all the extension of technology; Technologized in the full extent of the word, so when talking about transition it is also important to mention the obligations that as social individuals we have, coupled with a level of awareness in which we recognize the participatory work we have with respect to the subject, to project in a material form the benefits we would get by implementing actions that derive from responsible energy consumption; mainly in our homes, because as mentioned by the Confederación Patronal de la República Mexicana (Coparmex), we are responsible as well as the state and the companies to undertake with little, actions that promote decarbonization and circular economy; because as active consumers, achieving this is also our commitment.
